POSITION SUMMARY: The Examination Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and administering standardized computer-based assessments for both groups and individuals. This role requires maintaining a quiet and secure environment for testing while adhering to established testing protocols as outlined by relevant agencies or faculty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer standardized assessments to individuals and groups.
  • Ensure a calm and secure testing atmosphere.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of all testing materials and documentation.
  • Remain vigilant to prevent and address any instances of academic dishonesty.
  • Enforce Testing Center regulations effectively.
  • Document any incidents of cheating or dishonesty to support disciplinary actions.
  • Return testing materials to the appropriate instructors or agencies as required.
  • Collaborate with faculty to ensure timely access to necessary materials for exam proctoring.
  • Assist students requiring special accommodations, including reading, scribing, or providing a suitable testing environment.
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of informational materials regarding Testing Center hours and regulations.
  • May involve evening and weekend hours to accommodate testing schedules.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to the assigned work schedule.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Perform other related responsibilities as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The role is conducted in a typical classroom setting, requiring adherence to safe work practices with office and classroom equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The position involves frequent sitting for extended periods, occasional standing and walking, and manual dexterity for computer use. Close vision is necessary for reading and typing tasks, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS: A combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. A bachelor's degree with prior experience in computer operations is preferred.
