About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Neurotherapeutic Pediatric Therapies, Inc. in Hillsboro, Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and families, utilizing evidence-based treatments and a multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop measurable, time-limited treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based treatments and a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Advocate for clients by coordinating care with outside agencies and ensuring consistency between home and community settings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, including session content, interventions, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care and support for clients and families.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensed or registered as an Associate through OBLPCT (MHACBO okay for unlicensed therapists).
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in clinical interventions and mental health assessments specific to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessments, including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories, and conducting mental status examinations.
  • Knowledge of treatment methods for individual, family, and group therapy to address mental health needs.
  • Ability to provide case management services in accordance with federal, state, and funding source requirements.
  • Knowledge of community resources and treatment agencies enabling appropriate referrals for client needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Word, with ability to master proprietary software, including electronic health record systems.
