Job Title: Certified Medication Aide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to administer medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

* Administer medication to patients in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensure patients receive medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
* Document medication administration in patients' charts
* Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication and report them to healthcare providers
* Assist healthcare providers in updating medication orders and ensuring accurate medication administration

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Certification as a Medication Aide
* Previous experience in medication administration preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures

Work Environment:

* In-person work at a rehabilitation center
* Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekends as needed

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
* 2 years of experience as a CMA (required)
* 2 years of experience at a rehabilitation center (preferred)

License/Certification:

* Active CNA and CMA licenses
