Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative support for multiple international research studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation, submission, and modification of Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols
  • Coordinate and schedule primary data collection, administer in-person and online surveys, and maintain systems for secure data management
  • Execute participant payments and securely and appropriately document and track payments
  • Supervise a large team of undergraduate researchers and ensure each student is completing their tasks in a timely and effective manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, human development, criminal justice, education, sociology, social work, or other social science
  • Research experience in the fields of psychology, child and adolescent development
  • Advanced computer and technology skills, including proficiency with basic office productivity tools
  • Superior problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work independently as well as to seek support when necessary, prioritize competing projects and duties, and work collaboratively in a team environment
Working Conditions

This position is primarily sedentary and involves significant periods of sitting while using a computer, audiovisual, telephone, and other office equipment. The role involves some movement between lab spaces, offices, and conference rooms within the workplace as well as some on-campus and off-campus travel internationally for recruitment, data collection, meetings, and other purposes.
