Overview:

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytical Testing and Laboratory Management:
    • Conduct assigned analyses with precision, ensuring accurate outcomes under supervision.
    • Utilize techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Ion Chromatography (IC), and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP).
    • Identify and report any issues to management promptly.
    • Set up and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
    • Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments.
    • Ensure the proper storage and handling of chemicals and equipment.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Adhere to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate and execute materials shelf life and compatibility testing.
    • Maintain compliance with company, industry, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with team members in both verbal and written formats.
    • Guide apprentices and trainees.
    • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance process equipment efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a chemistry-related role.
  • Strong theoretical understanding of analytical chemistry principles is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography techniques is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ion chromatography (IC) and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) methods.
  • Proficient in data analysis using software tools (e.g., Excel, ChemStation).
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality control practices.

Work Environment:

State-of-the-art manufacturing facility with a climate-controlled environment. Day shift with opportunities for overtime.
