Position Overview:
St. Luke's Health System is on the lookout for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to enhance our Wound Care Prevention Clinic team.

This role involves educating patients, implementing preventive measures, and coordinating comprehensive care for individuals who have successfully healed their wounds but remain at high risk for recurrence.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for discussing preventive healthcare and understanding how various medical conditions can influence wound healing and recurrence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff, therapists, other wound care physicians, and APPs, as well as specialists across the healthcare continuum.

We seek candidates with a strong interest in wound care, internal medicine, diabetes management, and/or cardiology.

What to Expect:
• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

• Split between two locations

• Comprehensive onboarding program lasting 3 months

• Collaborative team environment with physical therapists, registered nurses, and medical assistants

• Supportive team dynamics

• $3,500 allocated for professional development

• 5 days of Continuing Medical Education (CME) included, in addition to accrued paid time off

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or equivalent qualifications as recognized by the Idaho Board of Nursing.


Licenses and Certifications:

Must possess or be eligible for licensure from the Idaho Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, along with the necessary certifications for the specialty. Candidates must also obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
