Position Overview:
At St. Luke's Health System, our committed team of Advanced Practice Providers and Neonatologists work collaboratively to foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment that prioritizes exceptional patient and family experiences. The Neonatology division provides comprehensive coverage across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality care for our youngest patients.

Team Dynamics:
The selected candidate will join a robust team of 12 Board-Certified Neonatologists and 22 Advanced Practice Providers. This employed-provider practice operates within the largest and most comprehensive Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the state, alongside three additional facilities in the southwestern region.


The Boise NICU features 61 beds and is classified as Level 4, with a full complement of pediatric subspecialists available for consultation. Our two Level 2 NICUs are situated in Meridian and Nampa, providing 13 and 15 beds, respectively, where APPs manage 24-hour in-house shifts.

The St. Luke's Magic Valley NICU in Twin Falls, classified as Level 3, accommodates up to 18 infants, with APPs covering 15-hour in-house night shifts.

- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient experience preferred
- Performance-based Incentives

- 5 days of Continuing Medical Education (CME) included for educational pursuits

St. Luke's Neonatology has been a member of the Vermont Oxford Network since 1992, closely monitoring outcomes data to inform quality improvement initiatives. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care and staying abreast of contemporary evidence-based practices.

We have a longstanding tradition of providing clinical training for NNPs, and our new Pediatric Residency program has recently commenced, with residents beginning their NICU rotations shortly.
