Pain Management Specialist

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Pain Management Specialist to join our team. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients' pain issues in accordance with the standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize a multimodal approach to include medication and interventional management, physical therapy, and bracing where appropriate.
- Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients along with treatment goals.
- Interpret medical tests in the context of patient care and explain results to patients.
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients' compliance to treatment plans.
- Adhere to company policies, quality improvement objectives, and safety standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with health information privacy laws.
- Record complete, timely, and legible medical records.
- Liaise with other medical professionals related to patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with medical developments.
- Promote company core values.
- Coordinate with medical assistants, nurses, and other medical staff.
- Ensure all personnel and patients are treated without limitation due to race, creed, sex, or national origin.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to optimize clinic functionality.
- Assist with marketing, as needed.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, and personal networks.
- Check work email regularly throughout the workday.
- Participate in and complete required trainings and in-services.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state where services are performed.
- May require a current DEA license, depending on regional requirements.
- May require ACLS and/or BLS certification, depending on regional requirements.
- Masters Degree in Nursing or a related field of study.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, clinical staff, and the public.
- Ability to work individually and within a team.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to respond with patience and understanding during stressful conditions.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Strong organization skills.
- Problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Ability to meet quality standards.

- Working knowledge of the healthcare field and medical terminology.
- Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
- One year of experience working in a Pain Management practice.
- One year of experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- One year of experience performing in-office procedures.
- Master's Degree in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner specialty/focus.
