Job SummaryThe Tax Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of client engagements, including supervising staff and directing the day-to-day progress of the engagement.
This position involves preparing to assume increasing responsibility for handling a larger quantity and complexity of client assignments and developing client relationships.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to utilize entrepreneurial skills to build out a tax practice in one of our markets.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise staff and direct the day-to-day progress of client engagements
- Prepare to assume increasing responsibility for handling a larger quantity and complexity of client assignments
- Develop client relationships and build out a tax practice in one of our markets
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to drive business growth and development
- CPA license preferred but not required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 to 7 years' related experience; advanced degree preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of operating systems
- Demonstrate aptitude in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, building relationships and leadership ability, project management, business development, and self-motivation
