Restaurant Operations Manager

As a General Manager at Sonic Drive-In, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all employees are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and train drive-in employees, including management and orientation.
- Direct and assign employees to perform duties in various stations, ensuring that menu items meet operational standards.
- Adhere to and monitor employee compliance with the drive-in employee handbook, policies, and practices.
- Perform opening and closing duties, monitor staffing levels, and prepare employee work schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Recruit, interview, and hire crew and management team members, and determine compensation levels.
- Develop and implement marketing plans, and prepare operational reports to address financial and sales trends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of three years of restaurant management experience, with experience running shifts without supervision.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and laws relating to employment and labor practices, Equal Employment Opportunity, and wage and hour compliance.
- Leadership and supervisory practices and skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, basic accounting skills, time management skills, organizational skills, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work at least 50 hours per workweek, follow directions, work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, and use restaurant planning tools.
