About the RoleThe DuPont Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient experiences and ensuring their safety during abortion procedures.

In this position, you will work closely with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and nurses to provide critical informational, emotional, and physical support to patients. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing trauma-informed patient-centered care by offering physical and emotional support to patients before, during, and after their abortion procedures
  • Utilizing Quickbase EMR to input patient information; review and upload patient charts
  • Supporting and monitoring patients through recovery including taking vital signs and conducting bleeding checks with oversight from nurses and providers
  • Communicating effectively with all members of the patient-care team, with Slack, Google Meet, and in-person

RequirementsKey Qualifications:
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish required

Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation package for this role includes a salary of $26/hour ($27.30 contingent on passing a language placement test) and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a retirement plan, periodic bonuses, paid time off, and 11 paid holidays. Additionally, we offer non-licensed staff with $250-$500 of professional development funds as well as the opportunity to attend events and conferences if the employee is in good standing.
