Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Home Solutions Specialist who embodies humility, hunger for success, and intelligence. This individual will be responsible for creating personalized shopping experiences, building strong relationships with sales staff and customers, and driving repeat business through exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a seamless customer experience that ends with satisfied guests.
  • Develop and implement customized floor plans and in-home consultations to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct in-home visits during delivery as required by customers.
  • Set and achieve monthly sales and service targets in collaboration with management.
  • Meet minimum monthly objectives within the first 90 days of being actively engaged on the sales floor.
  • Establish rapport with customers, identify their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of product lines, features, and benefits.
  • Demonstrate expertise in home decor and design principles, including furniture, accents, and color schemes.
  • Qualify and recommend suitable products for customers, utilizing selling principles and techniques.
  • Make regular follow-up calls to delayed buyers, aiming for a 40% closing ratio.
  • Pursue continuous professional development through self-study, role-playing, and other resources.
  • Ensure timely completion of sales and service paperwork according to Furniture Mall standards.
  • Develop innovative ideas to enhance store image, sales, and operations, sharing them with management.
  • Nurture long-term customer relationships and generate new leads through referrals.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic computer knowledge required.

Salary and Benefits:

This full-time position comes with an annual salary ranging from $31,000 to $91,000, based on performance. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with company match, complimentary life insurance, paid vacation time, and three paid holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
