Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our team at UNC Health. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive support to student athletes, combining clinical knowledge with a commitment to promoting health and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patient injuries and conditions in an ambulatory clinical setting.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote patient recovery and function.
  • Provide patient education on injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Requirements
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification.
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners or license eligible.
  • One year of experience as an athletic trainer preferred.
