Piper Companies is currently seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join their team in Hershey and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role will play a critical part in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining critical life-saving medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clinical equipment in accordance with the Medical Equipment Management Plan and Joint Commission Standards.
  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex biomedical equipment.
  • Educate clinical staff on technical integration.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior and mid-level staff.
  • Coordinate with IT departments and vendors for device installation and troubleshooting.
  • Document all work using applicable computer programs.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology, or equivalent military training.
  • 4+ years of related experience. Experience working in the Operating Room is a plus.
  • IT certification preferred, such as networking or A++.
  • Mastery knowledge of complex clinical equipment and medical systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Experience in using computer programs, running reports, and navigating databases.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
