Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Penn State Health. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including distribution equipment, automatic switchgears, motor control centers, and lighting control systems.
• Respond immediately to electrical problems and ensure prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational Technical Trades School in electrical field preferred.
• 3 years job related experience in industrial electrical maintenance required.
• Must pass a written test and hands on skills demonstration with a minimum score of 75%.
• Valid Driver's License required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum five (5) years job related experience in electrical field and computer control experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aide training preferred.
• Operation of tractors, forklifts, bucket trucks, high lifts and other types of equipment preferred.
