Maintenance Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our warehouse and club facilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to spills, and operating floor scrubbers.
- Cleaning all areas of the facility, including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, while following company procedures and guidelines.
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with company environmental sustainability program.
- Maintaining appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility, including ensuring that chemical supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers in preparation for their use and placing orders to replenish supplies as needed.

What You'll DoAs a Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
- Cleans all areas of the Facility (for example, floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) while following company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with company Environmental Sustainability Program.
- Maintains appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility, including ensuring that chemical supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers in preparation for their use and placing orders to replenish supplies as needed.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
