Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Clinical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prioritize care according to patient/family needs.
  • Develop relationships with patients and their families that promote their ability to advocate for patient and family needs.
  • Communicate with patient/family to prepare or update the plan of care using cultural competency and active listening.
  • Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or one of compact states by the day of clinical care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of experience working in a registered nurse role in an acute care/inpatient hospital setting is preferred.

Benefits:

UNC Health Care offers a competitive salary range for this position, estimated to be between $65,000 and $95,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
