Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at American Sugar Refining. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs as assigned
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical devices, including gear and sprocket drives, motors, and pneumatic tools
  • Install and replace functional and structural parts in devices
  • Assist in the startup process to ensure equipment is operating correctly
  • Set up and operate metalworking tools to make and repair parts
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing facility
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work a 2nd shift schedule
