  • Provide crisis intervention during emergencies related to basic needs such as shelter, food, and clothing, including financial assistance and advocacy.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments to identify immediate and long-term needs, developing tailored service plans accordingly.
  • Foster a thorough understanding of the social service landscape, guiding clients in self-advocacy and resource navigation.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations and internal departments to enhance service delivery.
  • Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in Data Management Systems.
  • Process requests for financial assistance, ensuring timely and thorough documentation.
  • Participate in regular supervision, departmental meetings, and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as required. Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in the social services sector.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with social service delivery systems and local resources.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and communication abilities.
  • Access to reliable internet and proficiency in remote technology.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Salesforce-based Data Management systems.
Working Conditions: The role requires the ability to remain stationary at a workstation for a significant portion of the day, with occasional travel for meetings. The position involves working with clients who may be experiencing stress and requires adaptability to various situations.
