- Inventory Monitoring: Regularly monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and ensure adequate stock to meet customer demand.
- Supply Chain Management: Develop relationships with outside vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Data Analysis: Use existing data to forecast future demand and make informed decisions about inventory levels and supply chain operations.
- Record Keeping: Accurately log shipments and deliveries, and maintain precise records of inventory levels and transactions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Inventory Manager or in a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods, familiarity with inventory management software, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
