Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at La Zozzona, a Richard Blais Italian American Chophouse located at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of La Zozzona, including scheduling, forecasting, and training staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus and promotions.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Coordinate special events and functions, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in an upscale environment.
  • Strong knowledge of wine and beverages, with experience in managing wine lists and beverage programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Food Handlers License and Liquor License required.
