Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with vital signs measurement, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Collect and record patient information accurately and efficiently
  • Aid in the administration of medications and treatments under the direction of healthcare professionals
  • Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring infection control protocols are followed
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering comfort and reassurance during difficult times
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience preferred
  • Reprocessing experience, including equipment repair and maintenance desirable
  • Successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis; or state license or registration as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and insurance, if travel by car needed for company business
  • Computer knowledge desirable
  • CMS (e)(4) for patient care dialysis technicians which requires certification under a State certification program or a national commercially available certification program within 18 months of being hired as a dialysis patient care for newly employed dialysis patient care technicians
