Key Responsibilities- Assist with vital signs measurement, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Collect and record patient information accurately and efficiently
- Aid in the administration of medications and treatments under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring infection control protocols are followed
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering comfort and reassurance during difficult times
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred
- Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience preferred
- Reprocessing experience, including equipment repair and maintenance desirable
- Successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis; or state license or registration as required
- Valid driver's license and insurance, if travel by car needed for company business
- Computer knowledge desirable
- CMS (e)(4) for patient care dialysis technicians which requires certification under a State certification program or a national commercially available certification program within 18 months of being hired as a dialysis patient care for newly employed dialysis patient care technicians
