Position Overview

Safe Fleet is on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our mission of enhancing safety across fleet vehicles.

Work Schedule:
Enjoy a 4-day work week, working Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential overtime on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize components and parts to assemble high-quality products.
  • Interpret blueprints and standard work instructions accurately.
  • Employ various powered hand tools and equipment effectively.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on parts and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to maintenance protocols.
  • Perform assembly of parts and sub-assemblies.
  • Prepare products for shipment.
  • Engage in cross-training opportunities across different departments.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in small part assembly.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Physical ability to frequently reach, grip, and carry up to 50 lbs, along with standing, stooping, bending, and walking.
  • Experience with automotive sanding, buffing, and painting is highly desirable.
