About the Role

This is a full-time position in a 3-day work week, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company. As an Ingot Processor, you will be responsible for handling metal used to create titanium castings in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Grinding: Cut billets and grind off slag to ensure high-quality metal for casting.
  • Sample Preparation: Prepare and test samples to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Departmental Clean-up: Assist with general departmental clean-up, including sweeping and shoveling of debris.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Adhere to all department and company procedures and policies.
  • Safe Working Environment: Maintain a clean, safe working environment and participate in safety improvement through observations and teamwork improvement events.
  • Production Rates: Meet established production rates consistent with quality expectations.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Be mechanically inclined and able to use and understand basic computer functions.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Production Experience: Have production operation experience, preferably in a related field.
  • Education: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent GED, but candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Age and Physical Ability: Be at least 18 years of age and able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Conditions

The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions with some exposure to noise, temperature, and machinery.

Schedule

This is a Weekend Graveyard Shift position, working 3x12 hours on Friday-Sunday, with a $2.50/hr shift differential.
