Job Summary
LaBella Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team as a Project Manager. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing client relationships and seek out new ones to expand the discipline in the target geography.
- Lead projects with technical acuity, efficient management, and excellence in client service.
- Prepare scopes of work, budget, and schedule, and internally manage these during performance of the work.
- Provide assistance in developing design concepts and potential alternatives.
- Provide regular oversight and guidance to water/wastewater team members.
- Assist clients with construction procurement.
- Support projects in construction, including office administration and field observation oversight.
- Assist with water and wastewater permitting, and project financing.
- Be actively involved in local, state, or national professional associations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience.
- Professional Engineer license in Virginia.
- Proven track record of developing good working relationships with municipal clients.
- Project management and leadership experience on various sized projects.
- Effective communication skills using oral, graphic, and written forms.
- Ability to travel to project sites and meet with utility staff to discuss technical matters.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously.
