Articulation and Academic Requirements Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Articulation and Academic Requirements Analyst to join our team at California State University, Los Angeles. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting transfer course articulation rules, test credit rules, academic requirements, and degree planner templates in support of the system-wide California State University Graduation Initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of the Associate Registrar for Academic Services, the incumbent will be a member of a team of analysts with specialized administrative responsibility for academic policy research and analysis.
- The incumbent will serve primarily in a technical role requiring knowledge of transfer credit articulation, auditing for academic requirements completion, and constructing term-by-term degree planner templates.
- The incumbent's responsibilities will be focused on e-advising technical configuration and support across these specialty areas: analysis, determining methods, developing solutions, ensuring compliance, and systems planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in any major, and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study analysis, transfer credit evaluation, academic advising, or graduation evaluation.
- Demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.
- Background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU.
