Job Title: Plumbing Service Manager

Frank Gay Residential Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead our team of professional service plumbers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional and efficient services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically oversee departmental performance to coach and support managers and team members for improvement
  • Lead and develop technicians on how to address customer needs and provide industry-leading customer service
  • Work closely with technicians, installation department, sales, dispatch, warehouse, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate service to customers
  • Address escalated customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution
  • Monitor and act on departmental performance goals to achieve or exceed expectations
  • Provide regular feedback to the Operations Manager on departmental performance
  • Provide consistent and accurate feedback, encouragement, support, professional development, and coaching to all technicians
  • Plan, develop, and lead facilitation of weekly technician meetings with positive and balanced content
  • Ensure safety topics are incorporated into one-to-one coaching conversations, weekly meetings, and training sessions
  • Maintain a positive culture and team morale while ensuring every employee lives the company's core values
  • Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities or individual training

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of plumbing experience, 3 years minimum managing a plumbing team
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze data for trends, devise creative solutions, exercise independent judgment, and make appropriate decisions
  • Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks
  • Proven ability to gain team buy-in to company values, safety procedures, and overall policies
  • Familiarity with using technology systems in an office environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
