Job Title: Plumbing Foreman or JourneymanJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman or Journeyman to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will oversee and guide the plumbing team, ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standard.Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of the plumbing team.
  • Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures.
  • Ensure all plumbing systems are installed and maintained in accordance with the required standards.
  • Coordinate with other construction professionals, such as electricians, carpenters, and civil engineers.
  • Train and mentor junior plumbing staff.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and keep an inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and fix any potential issues.
  • Manage and resolve any emergencies or problems that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the project manager and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in the plumbing field.
  • Previous experience as a Plumbing Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building codes.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • A valid plumbing license.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • A strong understanding of safety and health regulations in the construction industry.
