Key Responsibilities:

  • Write technical specifications for projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to create project specifications, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and new materials, applying this knowledge to drive project success.
  • Review drawings and propose solutions to design challenges, ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations.

  • Prepare Architectural Project Specifications/Project Manuals, ensuring clarity and concision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of architectural practice experience, with a strong background in specification writing.
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree, with a focus on design and construction.
  • CDT certification, demonstrating expertise in construction documentation.
  • Knowledge of construction codes and procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry software, with a focus on design and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional License/Registered Architect, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • LEED, WELL Accreditation, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  • Experience with REVIT and CAD software, with a focus on design and project management.
  • Knowledge of Sustainability language for specifications, ensuring a high level of environmental responsibility.
