About the Role

">

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Test Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for inspecting contractors' work, performing field soil and concrete material testing, and verifying that projects meet specifications.

">

This role requires extended periods of outdoor work, moderate to heavy lifting (40lbs+), and continuous walking and standing. You must also be available for occasional travel, weekend work, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • ">
  • You will communicate and coordinate with dispatchers for daily assignments.">
  • Perform field materials testing of soil, asphalt, masonry, and concrete.">
  • Prepare detailed and accurate field reports on a daily basis.">
  • Report to project managers, CMT supervisors, and contractors regarding construction issues.">
  • Update your supervisor and dispatcher on project progress and delays.">
  • Maintain the safe use and upkeep of assigned company vehicles and field equipment.">
  • Foster a culture of safety within our organization by adhering to and enforcing all relevant standards.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You must possess the ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.">
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness in project results is essential.">
  • Certification as a field technician is required, along with a valid Texas driver's license and an excellent driving record to fulfill travel requirements.">
  • ACI certification within one year is preferred.">
  • You must demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and dependability in your work.">
  • The ability to lift, carry, push up to 40+ pounds regularly is necessary.">
  • A background investigation, drug screening, and driving record review are mandatory.">
  • Basic phone and computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and ADP, are required.">
