Dermatology Clinical Coordinator

Anne Arundel Dermatology seeks a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Surgical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities- Escort patients to the procedure room and assist them as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Complete pre-operative intake and explain surgical procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Prepare procedure rooms and surgical trays with all necessary supplies, maintaining a clean and well-organized environment.
- Organize patient flow according to established protocols, streamlining the surgical process and reducing wait times.
- Administer local anesthesia and prepare syringes as required, following established guidelines and protocols.
- Document patient information accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Graduate of an accredited R.N. program.
- Active R.N. license.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing environment preferred.
