Medical Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide clinical support services in our medical office environment. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals with patient care activities, ensuring seamless delivery of quality care.
About the Role:
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient evaluations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and maintain accurate records.
- Administer medications, perform routine tests, and collect lab specimens as needed.
- Provide basic life support (BLS) and use equipment such as electrocardiogram (ECG) machines and defibrillators.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements:
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
