Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Technician I plays a vital role in providing hands-on support and guidance to production staff within assigned manufacturing cells. This includes operating equipment and contributing to daily production as needed. The successful candidate will also assist the engineering staff with the development and implementation of various manufacturing processes, working under the direction of a Production Supervisor or manufacturing management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff, resolving day-to-day issues and ensuring compliance with established procedures and work instructions.
  • Verify and implement new manufacturing procedures and work instructions, integrating with manufacturing and quality personnel to identify potential production issues.
  • Monitor and verify equipment functionality, actively participating in equipment installation and qualification.
  • Relay matters of concern to appropriate engineering staff, participating in resolving issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Log all activity and report to mentors and managers weekly, functioning as an effective team member through collaboration and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to operate virtual meeting platforms.
  • A high degree of energy and drive, with electrical and/or software development knowledge a plus.
Shift/Site:

2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Wage Disclosure:

The salary range for this position is $17.50-$24.50 per hour, equivalent to $36,500-$51,000 annually. This figure reflects the minimum and maximum of the range, with actual compensation varying based on factors including prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education.
