Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Women's Healthcare Associates. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide mental health assessment and treatment to pregnant and postpartum individuals, as well as support and referral for urgent mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments and create individualized treatment plans to address mental health issues during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
  • Provide trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and evidence-based care to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to recognize, understand, and care for mental health issues that impact pregnancy and the postpartum period.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of community resources for pregnant and postpartum individuals and refer patients as needed.
  • Provide defined episodes of psychotherapy, including brief Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
  • Address complex issues such as decision-making related to pregnancies, grief and loss, and trauma.
  • Provide timely and succinct feedback to other clinicians regarding consultation findings and recommendations.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in the electronic health record (Epic).
Requirements
  • LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist in the State of Oregon required, with training and experience in interpersonal psychotherapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
  • Current licensure as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist in the State of Washington required within three months of date of hire.
  • Experience working in an integrated care or other healthcare environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience related to perinatal mental health preferred.
