Responsibilities
  • Process customer policy change requests and secure all necessary documents.
  • Handle incoming claim calls and follow-up with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests and document each customer contact in eAgent.
  • Immediately greet all customers in a friendly and helpful manner, taking premium payments and asking for referrals.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses, and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring and return all phone messages promptly.
  • Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services, generating insurance quotes and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, responding to inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
  • Handle customer renewals and pivot for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, and lead databases.

Requirements
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency, creating relationships from a cold start.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru, and follow-up, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently, with professional phone etiquette.
  • Career-minded vision, with great customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is required, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish being beneficial.
  • No insurance experience required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
