Coffee Regional Medical C Job Description

About the Position

As an integral part of our medical team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and delivering exceptional customer service.



Key Responsibilities



  • Patient Care and Safety: Ensure patient safety protocols are followed and provide direct care to patients as required.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain imaging equipment, selecting the appropriate equipment for each procedure.

  • Procedure Execution: Program equipment, position patients, and make special radiographic examinations as needed.

  • Image Processing and Quality: Process images, ensure acceptable image quality standards, and critique positioning, technical factors, and collimation.

  • Communication and Teamwork: Interact professionally with patients and families, provide clear instructions, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.



Requirements and Competencies



  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

  • BCLS certification

  • Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology

  • One year of relevant experience preferred



Regulatory Compliance and Education

Attends all mandatory and department-specific education and training programs as required, maintaining competencies in other modalities if applicable.
