Salary
$63,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
The Medical Imaging Specialist - Radiology will be responsible for performing routine administrative tasks and radiologic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing problems. This includes daily warm-ups of digital x-ray equipment and DEXA scanner, maneuvering patients into position for accurate images, adjusting and operating radiologic equipment, and erasing digital cassettes. The successful candidate will also ensure all parties have appropriate radiation protection and generate radiology consultation requisitions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate of Science degree (AAS)
- Certified as a radiology technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Arizona State License as a Radiology Technologist
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
