Dauphin County Pennsylvania is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The Certified Recovery Specialist will assist individuals in recovery from substance use disorders by providing non-clinical support services, education, and guidance throughout the various stages of recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide non-clinical support services to individuals in recovery
  • Develop and implement individualized recovery plans
  • Coordinate with criminal justice related agencies to support those in recovery
  • Collaborate with community resources to provide education and guidance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full certification as a Recovery Specialist by a statewide certification body
  • Two years of work experience performing direct support services to individuals recovering from addiction
  • A valid driver's license and positive driving record
  • Favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances, and favorable references
