Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
  • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
  • Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities.
  • Provide education to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
Qualifications
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
  • Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment is required.
