Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Personal Banker II to join our team at Fifth Third Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers, providing exceptional customer service, and helping customers understand and address their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to provide tailored solutions to customers
  • Utilize a consultative approach to identify and address customer needs, providing recommendations and advice to help customers achieve their financial goals
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customer needs are met and all problems are resolved
  • Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs
  • Provide exceptional customer support, reinforcing the value of our products and services
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED and 1 year customer service experience, or college degree or equivalent military experience
  • Experience in a sales environment required; experience in the financial industry a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication
  • Capable of analyzing credit and financial information
  • Exhibits business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions
Working Conditions
  • Normal office environment
  • Extended viewing of computer screens
  • Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint to attend meetings and/or training
