Job DescriptionCleary University is seeking a dynamic and passionate Full Time Faculty member to join our academic team in the Healthcare Management department. As a Full Time Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and student advising.
Responsibilities:
- Teach on-campus, hybrid, and online classes using active, hands-on activities and the Canvas learning management system.
- Develop and revise academic curriculum in healthcare management, incorporating relevant, creative, and effective teaching methodologies.
- Assess student learning based on institutional outcomes, degree and program outcomes, and course outcomes.
- Hold regularly scheduled office hours and be available to students on a regular basis.
- Embrace education for diverse, global, and multi-cultural students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- An earned master's degree from an institutionally accredited college/university in healthcare management or a closely-related discipline.
- One to three years of teaching experience at the university/college level, with preference given to those candidates with one to three years of current professional experience in healthcare management or a closely-related discipline.
- Successfully experience developing or revising academic curriculum in healthcare management or a closely-related discipline.
- Ability to learn and use the Canvas learning management system, Zoom video conferencing, Microsoft Office applications, and other software programs for communicating with students, faculty leadership, and faculty peers.
- Ability to apply professional experiences to inform and inspire students about workforce projects, situations, and challenges.
