The Enrollment Specialist plays a crucial role in the selective evaluation, interviewing, and onboarding of prospective students, guiding them through the enrollment process with care and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts in-depth interviews to assess prospective students and elucidate the academic offerings at Hondros College of Nursing; provides guidance on meeting admissions criteria.
- Acts as a liaison with various campus departments to ensure a smooth and efficient enrollment experience, prioritizing exceptional customer service.
- Applies fundamental concepts and procedures of the admissions office to facilitate student enrollment.
- Utilizes approved marketing and recruitment strategies to inform prospective students about the college's programs.
- Employs active listening and a consultative approach to align the needs of prospective students with the college's offerings.
- Thoroughly evaluates prospective students to ensure they possess the necessary traits and meet the criteria for admission consideration.
- Completes the qualification process to determine eligibility by reviewing entrance examination results.
- Understands financial aid options and conveys basic eligibility requirements; refers students to the financial aid office as needed.
- Ensures completion of enrollment agreements with each student, verifying educational background, licensure, test scores, and other relevant variables.
- Collaborates with the admissions team, understanding team dynamics and contributing towards departmental goals.
- Participates in both on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities, such as information sessions and career fairs.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage with individuals across various organizational levels.
- Capability to identify educational needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Proficient in resolving escalated issues and proposing effective solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations to ensure compliance.
- Preferred experience of three years in customer service or sales-related roles.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
