Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns and their families.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive care to neonates in our Level II NICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with our neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of newborns, including physical examinations, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication administration, respiratory support, and other interventions as needed.
  • Provide education and support to families, including counseling, guidance, and emotional support.

Requirements:
  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master's degree
  • Experience working in a Level II NICU
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
