Position Overview

The Medical Technologist (ASCP) - Generalist role at Middlesex Health Laboratory involves performing complex analytical procedures using practical and theoretical knowledge of clinical procedures and instrumentation. This position requires a strong foundation in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, and rapid microbiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform generalist duties in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, and limited rapid microbiology
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Ensure accurate and timely test results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with MT/MLS (ASCP) Generalist certification or Associate's Degree with MLT (ASCP) Generalist certification
  • Epic Beaker and WellSky Blood Bank experience preferred
