InnovAge is a company dedicated to empowering seniors to live independently and age in their own homes and communities safely. Our Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provides enrolled seniors with customized healthcare and social support at our Adult Day Health Centers.

We are seeking a skilled Shuttle Driver Lead to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our frail senior patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  1. Transport participants to and from Day Centers and appointments
  2. Deliver in-home meals and supplies
  3. Assist participants with simple tasks as needed
  4. Maintain safety and cleanliness of assigned vehicle
  5. Communicate effectively with Dispatch and other team members

Additional Responsibilities (20%):

  1. Receive and sign for medications from the clinic
  2. Assign medications to routes and drivers
  3. Ensure medication delivery and collection
  4. Label and distribute personal supplies and meals
  5. Monitor vehicles and supplies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • 6 months prior experience with InnovAge in the Driver position
  • Excellent driving record with no more than 2 points off state motor vehicle record
  • Previous DOT and Defensive Driving experience
  • 6 months experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs
