Private Wealth Supervision Expert

We are seeking a skilled Private Wealth Supervision Manager to join our team at Bank of America. As a key member of the Office Management Team (OMT), you will be responsible for supervising Private Wealth advisors and clients, ensuring full compliance with laws and policies while focusing on client needs.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry regulations, supervisory requirements, policies/procedures, wealth management concepts, and financial services products. You will possess strong interpersonal skills to provide coaching to Private Wealth Advisors, mitigating risk through segmentation, disciplined investment practices, and documentation.
About the RoleThis role reports to the Merrill Private Wealth Business Segment Supervision Executive, with dual reporting to the Merrill Private Wealth Management Regional Managing Director. The Private Wealth Supervision Manager functions as a member of the market leadership team, responsible for a wide variety of delegated compliance, administrative, and business functions related to the MPWM RMD's overall managerial responsibilities.
You will operate with minimal guidance, monitoring adherence to policies, acting as the independent voice on risk, supporting the company's business objectives, and contributing to branch office profitability by influencing FA business practices in ways that minimize regulatory, financial, and reputational risks.
Responsibilities- Supervise Private Wealth advisors and clients to ensure compliance with laws and policies
- Manage risk, make sound decisions based on industry regulations and supervisory requirements
- Provide coaching to Private Wealth Advisors on aligning solutions to client goals
- Partner with Centralized Supervision to ensure robust supervision is conducted
- Support the company's business objectives and contribute to branch office profitability
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Series 7, 66, 9, 10 licenses (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage risk and make sound decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills and analytical skills
- A deep appreciation and understanding of our client-centric strategy
- Ability to speak in terms of client needs and concerns
This role offers a competitive salary, estimated to be between $110,000 and $155,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will be eligible for an annual discretionary award based on individual performance results and behaviors.
