R&CPMK is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Consumer PR team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advancing your skills in writing creative pitches and press releases, conducting outreach to media, and securing coverage for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Outreach: Conduct research and outreach to media outlets to secure coverage for clients.
  • Press Release Writing: Write and distribute press releases to media outlets to promote clients' products and services.
  • Media List Management: Create and maintain media lists to target key media contacts.
  • Account Management: Assist in the development and maintenance of press materials, including media lists, pitches, and press releases.
  • Press Clipping: Monitor press clippings for clients, track media impressions, and create coverage reports.
  • Client Communication: Facilitate media requests, meet with clients, and develop agendas for meetings.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and staff client events, as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and client calls.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months of PR experience, with a preference for large agency or client experience.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • Software: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Drive, Muckrack, Cision, and Critical Mention.
