Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee the respiratory department and provide technical work concerned with administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, gas delivery systems, and aerosol devices.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Conduct quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to ensure departmental excellence.
Requirements
  • Completion of an approved respiratory care program.
  • Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
  • Current ACLS certification and Current BLS.
  • Minimum of three to five years of related work experience and leadership experience.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
