Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and safe environment for all patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting patrols, responding to security incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the hospital premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Respond to security incidents, including combative individuals and potential violent behavior
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Document incidents and security-related activities

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (M.O.A.B.) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Active Driver's License
  • 1 year experience in Security & or Health Care Experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Benefits:

  • Hospital differentials: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends
