About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Project Development team at RWE Clean Energy, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of energy audits and performance contracts, working closely with assigned staff Engineers and Project Managers to identify, assess, and structure technical and financial solutions to meet customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of design concepts for energy conservation measures, including HVAC, EMS, and building envelope systems.
  • Identify, qualify, and quantify energy conservation measures (ECMs) associated with HVAC, EMS, and heating and cooling systems.
  • Conduct site investigations, utility analysis, and perform energy savings calculations to support technical audits and EPC proposals.
  • Design HVAC, EMS, and Central Plant system retrofits, and develop cost estimates and written descriptions of energy conservation measures.
  • Direct and develop junior engineers in the design of mechanical systems and the development of investment-grade audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, PE registration is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC, EMS, and/or central plant design is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in plumbing and/or fire protection system design is preferred.
  • AutoCAD and/or REVIT proficiency required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with energy conservation and associated building system retrofits is preferred.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
